I broke my right wrist Tuesday night when I tripped over a concrete curb thing in a parking lot at the Redding Convention Center after seeing a fun show there.
Fell to one side and on my out-stretched hand, putting my wrist into an S-curve. Spent about four hours in ER with a very efficient team, am splinted and slung and see a hand surgeon tomorrow. Will probably need a pin.
Not how I planned getting 2010 to start.
Because I'm writing with one hand, posts here aren't likely to be long. Writing at alkl is pretty much on hold.
Grateful it wasn't leg or hip or face. Grateful for good medical attention and a wonderful hubby who is taking care of me.
